Police appeal for witnesses after two men allegedly attacked a man as he tried to enter a taxi in Manchester city centre
A man suffered multiple facial fractures after he was assaulted outside a Manchester city-centre venue while attempting to get into a taxi.
Greater Manchester Police said the incident happened at about 5.45am on 5 September outside Sheng Tai International on Princess Street, after the victim had left The New Union pub.
Two men are alleged to have approached him as he entered the vehicle. One reportedly punched the victim several times before the second man grabbed him from the taxi and punched him in the face.
The victim required hospital treatment for serious facial injuries, including multiple fractures.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information that could assist the investigation. Officers also want to speak to a man pictured in connection with their enquiries.
