Police hunt for man assaulting TWO taxi drivers in incidents just minutes apart

Updated: Sep 28, 2021

Police are hunting for a man who assaulted two taxi drivers in two separate incidents just minutes apart in the Bromsgrove area.

In the early hours of Sunday 19 September it was reported that the first male taxi driver was assaulted on Worcester Road.

Shortly after, a second assault of another male taxi driver was reported on Market Street.

West Mercia Police officers believed the assaults were carried out by the same offender within a few minutes of each other.

He is described as a white man, mid-30s, of average height and build with a bald head, short dark beard and wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

PC Josh Cashmore said: “We are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time of these incidents to please get in touch.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have captured the incidents on dash cam.”
