Police issue appeal after taxi driver assaulted in Kingswinford

Police have launched an appeal for information after a taxi driver was assaulted in Kingswinford, with officers seeking to identify two men in connection with the incident.


The appeal, published at 17:00 on 4 May 2026, relates to an attack that took place on Dubarry Avenue at around 12:10am on Sunday 29 March, according to the notice.

Officers said “we want to speak to these two men in connection with an assault on a taxi driver in Kingswinford”, as part of ongoing enquiries into the incident.


Police have not disclosed further details about the extent of the driver’s injuries or the circumstances leading up to the assault, and investigations remain ongoing.
