Police release CCTV images after two men reportedly assault taxi driver and steal cash

South Yorkshire Police officers investigating reports of a robbery in Sheffield have released CCTV footage of two men they would like to speak to in connection with their enquiries.
It is reported that a taxi driver had stopped his vehicle on Callow Mount in Sheffield at around 3am 18 February 2023 when two unknown men entered his vehicle.
It is alleged that the victim was physically assaulted by the men, causing injuries to his face. The victim fled the scene and sought help from police.
The suspects are reported to have taken cash from vehicle.
Officers are keen to speak to the two men in the CCTV footage as they believe they hold vital information that can assist their enquiries.
