Dorset Police officers are calling for public assistance to identify two individuals linked to the recent assault of a taxi driver in Poole.

In the early hours of Saturday 16 March, at approximately 2.15am, the driver, a local man in his 40s, experienced a violent attack resulting in bruises and cuts.

The incident unfolded on Seldown Lane, where the driver had just dropped off the pair. After noticing the vehicle's door was ajar, he stepped out to secure it and was subsequently assaulted.

Authorities have released an image of the two men believed to be connected to this attack. They urge anyone with information to come forward.

Police Constable Robert Roaf, Dorset Police, said: “I am continuing to carry out enquiries into this incident and am now issuing an image of two men I would like to speak to.

“If you have information about their identity, please contact Dorset Police.”
