Police seeking woman who allegedly racially abused taxi driver after smashing up car

A woman allegedly racially abused a taxi driver after damaging a car in Nottingham last month.

Nottinghamshire Police officers would like to speak to the woman pictured in connection with a disorder in Nottingham city centre on Saturday 26 October.

Officers were called to Lower Parliament near the NG-One nightclub at around 4am after reports of a woman being racially abusive to a taxi driver after damaging a car.

Neighbourhood Inspector for Nottingham city, Paul Gummer, said: “Racism has no place in Nottinghamshire and we are committed to ensuring that all reports are investigated thoroughly.

“If you recognise the woman pictured, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via a 101 quoting incident number 168 of 26 October 2019.”
