At its annual product event today, Uber announced a host of new features for travellers and business users across the globe.

In the UK, users can expect to see ‘Uber Travel’ appear on it platform this summer.

Uber Travel lets users reserve rides for each leg of their itinerary in one fell swoop. By connecting their Gmail account, Uber will be able to organise hotels, flights, and restaurant reservations all in one place.

Users will earn 10% back in Uber Cash for each Reserve ride booked with Uber Travel. Uber Travel is available now in the US and in the coming weeks in Canada. In the UK users will be able to book trains, coaches and car rentals this summer.

Dara Khosrowshahi, Uber CEO, said: “After two years of pandemic living, 2022 is looking like a sea change. One of the busiest travel seasons is upon us, a record-breaking number of weddings will be held this year, and climate is at the center of the global conversation.

“At Uber, we’re always innovating to meet your ever-changing needs in an ever-changing world. With our new suite of products that help you go anywhere and get anything, the world is in your hands.”
