Worcester Police have launched an appeal for information after a taxi driver was assaulted during a late evening incident on Liverpool Road.
The force said the attack happened at around 11.10pm on Saturday 11 October following a disagreement over the fare.
The victim, a man in his thirties, required medical treatment after being punched and kicked. Police confirmed that the injuries were not life threatening but required clinical attention, adding that the driver had been left shaken by the incident.
Investigators are looking to identify two individuals who were reportedly in the area at the time and may be able to help officers establish what took place.

Detectives have released a CCTV still showing the pair, noting that the image quality is limited but may assist the public in recognising those who could support the inquiry.
The force is urging anyone who can identify the people pictured or who witnessed any part of the incident to make contact. Officers are also reviewing further CCTV opportunities and speaking to residents and businesses along the route as part of the ongoing investigation.
