Taxi involved in Truro collision as one person taken to hospital

One person has been taken to hospital following a collision involving a taxi in Truro, Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called shortly before 9am on Monday 7 September to Station Road following a collision between a taxi and a vehicle towing a trailer.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “We were called shortly before 9am on Monday 7 September following a collision involving a vehicle with a trailer and a taxi in Station Road, Truro.

“A road closure was put in place. Parked cars were also damaged.

“One person was taken to hospital. The extent of any injuries is not yet known. The road has since reopened.”
