Veezu backs NSPCC Cymru with fundraising push for Childhood Day 2025

Veezu has renewed its partnership with NSPCC Cymru as part of this year’s Childhood Day campaign. The initiative sees Wales-based app bookings made throughout June contribute directly to Childline, the charity’s confidential helpline for children and young people.
The private hire operator, which works with over 1,500 driver-partners across Wales, has pledged a portion of revenue from each app booking towards the cause. It is aiming to raise £10,000 during the campaign. This builds on the £26,153 already raised since the partnership began in 2023.
Childhood Day, observed annually each June, raises awareness of the issues affecting children in the UK. A child contacts Childline every 45 seconds, often due to serious concerns such as abuse, neglect or mental health. The funds raised will help maintain access to trained counsellors offering vital support.
The campaign is part of the wider ‘Funded by Veezu’ initiative, which supports a range of local causes. These include grassroots sports and community projects across the regions in which the company operates.
By linking donations to passenger bookings, Veezu says it hopes to deliver local benefits while supporting national services.
