A popular taxi driver YouTuber has shared his tips on how to keep a taxi sparkling clean whilst on the move and WITHOUT the need for water.

In a recent Tom the Taxi Driver video the cabbie runs through the quick process of a waterless car wash whilst pulled over in Mayfair’s busy Berkeley Square.

Tom Hutley, a London taxi driver and successful YouTuber, posted his video to over 24,000 subscribers telling drivers why he chooses to use certain products and methods. From a simple hard bristled brush for the carpets, to sprays and clothes for the bodywork.

One viewer commenting on the video said: “Great tip on the window cleaning with the different stroke pattern, gonna have to use this.”

Another said: “I have my own valeting business and even you taught me a trick or two, great idea with the window cleaning tip.”

The popular YouTube channel has been a hit with viewers ever since it first launched in March 2020. The London black cab driver and qualified taxi guide completed the ‘Knowledge of London’ in 2017 after 3 years of studying.

Tom has also published a book about his time on the Knowledge, and recently progressed to Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers.
