Wiltshire Police appeal after taxi driver racially abused during passenger pickup

Wiltshire Police has launched an appeal for witnesses following a racially aggravated incident involving a taxi driver in Tidworth.
According to a police spokesperson, the incident occurred at around 11.30pm on 27 December 2025 outside the British Legion Tidworth. The driver was collecting a group of six people when he was subjected to racial abuse.
Police said the victim was carrying out a routine passenger collection at the time. No injuries were reported, but the incident has been recorded as a racially motivated offence.
Wiltshire Police is asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant information, to come forward as part of its investigation.
