The new TX taxi lands in Norway

The new TX electric taxi has landed in Norway as the British company completed the latest deal away from home soil.
The London Electric Vehicle Company has shown off the Nordic version of the electric taxi which has just hit the streets in London. It’s Scandinavian counterpart is however left-hand drive and has several local trimmings to make the taxi more unique to Norway.

Autoindustri, based in Oslo, was named as the Norwegian importer for the taxi, which followed a similar deal completed to a different importer in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Chris Gubbey, LEVC's chief executive, said: “To date taxi drivers in Norway have lacked a viable electric taxi which has held back electrification of the sector in an otherwise world-leading EV market.”
