BILKER ALERT: Wiltshire Police seek man after passenger allegedly runs from taxi without paying

Wiltshire Police are investigating an alleged bilking after a taxi journey from Melksham to Trowbridge ended without the fare being paid.

Officers want to speak to a man in connection with the incident, which happened on 31 July.

Police said an unknown passenger travelled by taxi from Melksham to Trowbridge before leaving the vehicle on arrival and running away.

According to the force, the passenger made no attempt to pay the driver.
