Blacklane has launched chauffeur operations in four additional European cities, extending its footprint across northern Italy and southern Germany at the start of 2026.
The expansion covers Varese, Bergamo and Verona in Italy, alongside Nuremberg in Germany, strengthening the company’s coverage in regions with a mix of corporate travel, leisure demand and cross-border mobility.
The move builds on Blacklane’s existing European network as it targets destinations with year-round travel volumes rather than purely seasonal demand.
In Italy, the addition of Varese is positioned to support cross-border journeys between Italy and Switzerland, an area with consistent demand from business travellers and international residents. Bergamo further deepens Blacklane’s reach in northern Italy, complementing established services in Milan and surrounding economic centres.

Verona adds a leisure-focused market to the network, serving travellers visiting Lake Garda and nearby alpine destinations. The city also plays a role in ski tourism flows during the winter season, providing opportunities for longer-distance transfers and by-the-hour chauffeur services.
In Germany, the launch in Nuremberg expands Blacklane’s coverage in Bavaria, a region with strong corporate activity and a steady flow of international visitors. The city also attracts cruise passengers and trade fair attendees, segments that typically prioritise pre-booked, premium ground transport.
Across all four cities, customers can access airport transfers, intercity travel, local point-to-point journeys and chauffeur-by-the-hour services. Blacklane said the service offering remains consistent with its wider network, focusing on reliability, professional drivers and fixed pricing, which are key selling points for corporate travel buyers and high-end leisure customers.
The expansion brings Blacklane’s operational presence to more than 60 countries worldwide. The company continues to prioritise markets where demand for managed, app-based chauffeur services aligns with corporate travel policies, premium leisure travel and the need for dependable alternatives to traditional taxis and ride-hailing platforms.
René van Olst, CEO EMEA & APAC at Blacklane, said: “We’re thrilled to extend Blacklane’s hospitality to Varese, Bergamo, Verona, and Nuremberg. These latest launches allow us to bring our exceptional service to even more guests traveling throughout Europe, timed ahead of key international events taking place particularly in northern Italy. We’re continuing to build on our growth momentum in 2026. Watch this space for more new cities to come very soon.”
