Police appeal after taxi rank vehicle damaged with screwdriver in York

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following a criminal damage and public order incident at the taxi rank in Duncombe Place, York.
The incident occurred on Monday 8 September 2025 at around 1.30pm. An argument broke out which led to a screwdriver being used to damage a vehicle belonging to the victim.
Officers are now seeking witnesses who may have seen the incident take place or who can provide further details.
