Police are appealing for help to identify a man in connection with the theft of takings from a taxi in Plymouth.
A spokesperson for Cornwall and Devon Police said officers are investigating a report that a vehicle window was smashed overnight between 9 January and 10 January in Stonehouse Street. Around £170 in cash was stolen from the taxi.
Enquiries remain ongoing and investigating officers are seeking to identify a man pictured on a bicycle in the area at the time. Police believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.
The incident has raised concerns among drivers about vehicle security and the risks associated with leaving takings inside vehicles, even for short periods. Officers are urging anyone who recognises the man in the image or who has information about the incident to come forward.
