Police bid to find man who assaulted and spat in the face of Essex taxi driver

Essex Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an alleged assault on a taxi driver.
The force would like to talk to him following the incident which took place on Saturday 28 December 2019 at around 11pm in Basildon.
It has been alleged that the attacker spat in the face of the taxi driver during the assault which happened outside the Jolly Friar pub in Whitmore Way.
Police are urging anyone with information to call Basildon police station on 101 quoting crime reference 42/204190/19 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
