Police seek help identifying man in Chesterfield robbery investigation which saw man pulled from taxi

Derbyshire Constabulary are appealing for public assistance following a reported robbery in Chesterfield which saw a man pulled from a taxi.


The incident took place on Saturday 3 August, just before 6am, near Door2Door on Knifesmithgate.

The victim, a man in his 50s, was seated in the back of a taxi when he was allegedly pulled from the vehicle, assaulted, and had his wallet stolen by another man.


Police have released a CCTV image of a man they believe could assist with their enquiries. Authorities are urging anyone who recognises the individual, witnessed the incident, or has information that could aid the investigation, to come forward.
