Taxi stolen and damaged during Farnham town centre affray, say Surrey Police

A taxi was stolen and later recovered damaged following a large fight outside a Farnham pub in the early hours of Sunday morning, according to Surrey Police.
Police said officers were called to reports of an affray involving up to eight people near the taxi rank on Castle Street at around 1.15am on 10 May.
During the disorder, a taxi was reportedly taken from the scene before later being recovered with damage. No further details have yet been released about the condition of the vehicle or whether any arrests have been made.
Investigators are now appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam, CCTV or video doorbell footage from the area at the time of the incident to come forward.
