Cab flipped onto its side in Sheffied after crash

A cabbie and his passengers had a lucky escape after the cab that they were in was hit by a bus and flipped onto its side in Sheffield.

The un-named cabbie, Chelsie Jemima Wilson, and her friend were travelling along Parkway to Handsworth when the can driver allegedly went through a red light and collided with a bus.

The force of the impact flipped the cab onto its side before it came to rest in the middle of the road.

The cab driver received minor injuries and was treated at hospital, whilst Chelsie received cuts and bruises to her back and neck.

South Yorkshire Police have requested that anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101.
