Shake Shack partners with Serve Robotics to introduce autonomous deliveries in Los Angeles via Uber Eats

Shake Shack has teamed up with Serve Robotics to launch an autonomous delivery service in Los Angeles.


The collaboration will see Shake Shack meals delivered by Serve's autonomous robots via Uber Eats, offering a new level of convenience for customers.

The partnership aims to build on Serve's existing operations in Los Angeles, where its robots have been delivering orders through Uber Eats since 2022. The initiative is expected to expand across the United States in the future.


Serve’s delivery robots are designed to provide quick, secure, and eco-friendly service. These all-electric robots are equipped with advanced GPS and AI technologies, enabling them to navigate urban environments safely. They also offer a fully contactless delivery experience, ensuring food arrives fresh and intact.

Noah Zych, Global Head of Autonomous Mobility & Delivery at Uber, said: "Serve has been advancing their technology for years to provide merchants and consumers with not only a futuristic experience but greater affordability, reliability, and convenience. 


"We're thrilled to take another step forward and give Shake Shack customers in Los Angeles a little more Uber magic through sidewalk robot delivery."
